Omaha, Nebraska Part 2

At the end of the our first day in Omaha, we walked across the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge.   It is a really cool walking bridge that allows you walk across the Missouri River.

The sun had not been out the whole day, but as soon as we pulled in the parking lot, we had sunshine.  This was perfect for taking pictures.  We could not have timed it better.

Below is the view to one side of the bridge.

Below is the other side of the bridge,  downtown Omaha, as the sun went behind a cloud for a minute.

The view across the bridge.

And the view  up

and the view really far up

The River is huge.

This was the really cool thing about the bridge they marked the state line, so of course I couldn't resist this picture.  How often are you in two states at the same time.

The view in some water  of the sky and trees

Then we got cold and went back, a quick picture of Andy and me.   Thanks Amanda.

One last view across the bridge as we quickly walked to the car, because we were really cold by that time.
