Here in the Midwest we have anxiously been awaiting the first day of spring, having been through two major snow storms in less than a week in February, we are done with winter. Today's sunshine did make the cool temperature (in the 30's) and chilly windy more bearable. Spring should signal the end of the dreaded white perception, right?
Well all I have to say is if the weather forecast is right, the few plants in my back yard that are bravely coming up will be covered with snow (not as much as last time but still SNOW).
So the calendar may say today is the first day of Spring, but I think it is a misprint. Be brave little plants.
